15/07/15 – The LME issued a notice detailing an amendment to its Special Contract Rules For Primary Nickel (Part 6 of the LME’s Rulebook).
An amendment has been made to Special Contract Rule 1 which relates to the quality specifications of nickel that may be delivered under this Contract. In addition to the current Contract Standard, ASTM B39-79 (2013) – minimum 99.80% purity, the LME has now approved the Chinese Standard GB/T 6516 – 2010 – Ni 9990 grade. Please see notice below:-
